Europe Lives is a Canadian tour operator and provider of self-guided and guided hiking tours, cycling holidays and driving tours to more than 10 countries in Europe. Through our strong network of reliable local partners we can offer our customers unique and well-chosen routes and one-of-a-kind accommodations, clear route instructions, luggage transfers, Europe maps and trip planning information.

Our goal is to offer travellers a memorable cycling, walking and driving holiday to a specific region in Europe with ample room for self-exploration.

Europe Lives is a young travel company with its main (licensed) office in British Columbia, Canada and a European office in The Netherlands.
The two founders of the company, business professional Marcel Neeling and veteran entrepreneur Dirk Terpstra are keen in creating authentic travel experiences and care very much about conducting business in a responsible and sustainable way. And yes, we are Europeans and know most countries as no other.

Honest pricing
We believe that many bike tours and walking tours to Europe are overpriced. Not with us.
Europe Lives regularly adapts it's rates because we are converting from the Euro. This is a perfect example of the lowest possible and honest pricing. You could call it 'budget travel'.

Currently, self-guided trips makes up the fastest growing sector of the active travel market. Europe Lives offers active trips for travelers who seek a balance between the freedom of traveling on their own and the organized support of a guided tour.
We specialize in self-guided cycle tours, walking trips and driving tours, but we also offer a limited range of trips for small groups.
The beauty of the self-guided aspect of our trips is that travelers have the ultimate in independence with not much to worry about. Europe Lives looks after your accommodation reservations, arranges luggage transfers, and provides travelers with detailed route notes, maps, and local support when needed.
